L Enfance Radieuse

FEB 28 to MARCH 20, L’Enfance Radieuse at Underpass, Sector 17 L’Enfance radieuse is based on a photographic reportage produced in 1961 at the Maison Radieuse in Rezé, a work by Le Corbusier, documenting everyday life within the Unité d’Habitation. Through a focus on children, their play, movements and uses of space, these images reveal a lived modernity, shaped by appropriation, adaptation and everyday practices. Enriched by testimonies from former residents, the exhibition offers a perceptive reading of modern architecture, where archives and narratives intersect to tell the story of an inhabited modernity. Curated by Margaux Blondel, cultural mediator at ECPAD and exhibition curator and Daniel Coutelier, Deputy Head of the Department of Documentary Enrichment, ECPAD Join us for the opening on February 28, 11 am at Underpass, Sector 17, with the curator.
