The Administrator, U.T. & Governor of Punjab launched app for Unified Ticketing System for various tourist spots of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The App is being developed by the Department of Tourism, Chandigarh Administration under supervision of Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary-cum-Secretary Tourism, Chandigarh Administration. The App will work both in Android and iOS system. The App will contain a special QR Code with a single ticket for multiple tourist spots viz-a-viz boating at Sukhna Lake, ticketing of Rock Garden, Bird Park, Hop on Hop off bus and museums. The tourist both domestic as well as international will not have to stand in a queue for the ticket. Sooner, there will also be , Sh. Dharampal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary-cum-Secretary Tourism, Ms. Hargunjit Kaur, IAS, Special Secretary-cum-Director Tourism, Chandigarh Administration and Sh. Naresh Arora, Zonal Head, IndusInd Bank were also present during the launch.
